Privacy Policy

This page explains what Opti needs to run accounts, the launcher, tickets and the store. The aim is to collect only what has a real reason to be there.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. What we collect

Depending on what you use, Opti may store your Minecraft username, UUID, sign-in state, support ticket messages, store entitlement status, device/session details, request logs and security events. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by Opti.

2. Why we use it

We use this information to keep you signed in, attach support replies to the right ticket, give cosmetics or entitlements to the right account, fix broken parts of the service, and protect Opti from abuse or unauthorized access.

3. Services involved

Opti may rely on Cloudflare for hosting/protection, Microsoft/Xbox/Minecraft for sign-in, Stripe for checkout when it is live, and email services for support replies. Those services have their own policies too.

4. Cookies and storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage for login, trusted devices, anti-abuse checks and basic site features. We do not use those essential tools to sell your information or build ad profiles.

5. How long we keep it

Information is kept for as long as it is reasonably needed for the feature, support request, security check or legal reason it was collected for. Some support and security records may have different retention periods.

6. Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you. Email support@playopti.com; we may need to check the request is really about your account.

7. Younger users

Opti only asks for information needed to run its features. If your local law says you need parent or guardian permission to use an online service or provide personal information, get that permission first.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, restricted admin access, session controls, rate limits and anti-bot checks. No online service is perfect, so real security issues should be reported through our Security Policy.

9. Changes and contact

This policy may change as Opti changes. The newest version will stay on this page. Questions can be sent to support@playopti.com.
